Scanning to Connect

Connect your mobile device to the ZEC500 by scanning the on-screen QR code.
  1. On the ZEC500 device, open the QR code image on the external display:
    Navigate to
    Files
    Zebra Folders
    enterprise/usr
    WirelessConnect
     and open
    ScanToConnect_QRCode.png
    .
  2. On your mobile device, open the
    WWC
     app.
  3. Aim the mobile device's scanner at the QR code displayed on the screen.
  4. Press the scan button the mobile device.
    The mobile device connects to the ZEC500.
  • The QR code file resides in a read-only directory and cannot be deleted or renamed.
  • If the ZEC500 friendly name is changed, the QR code image updates automatically under the same filename.
