This section describes the active connection status, background behavior, and available controls on the Connection Details screen.
Once the wireless connection is established, the Zebra Wireless Workstation Connect app automatically moves to the background, allowing you to use your mobile device normally. To view connection details, modify settings, or disconnect, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the notification panel or open the app from the Recent Apps screen.
When connected, the Connection Details screen displays the device name, serial number, and active connection mode.

To activate a connection mode, tap
Mirror Mode
or
Desktop Mode
.
When switching between Mirror Mode and Desktop Mode, the casting connection disconnects and automatically reconnects using the newly selected mode.
To disconnect, tap
Disconnect
.
If the mobile device screen times out, the connection session automatically disconnects after 30 seconds.
To view your preference settings, tap
. From here, you can toggle your preferences and set the desired proximity distance. Refer to Settings for more information.
