After the printer setup is made, the setup guide in
Nucleus
takes you through the process of enrolling your printer using
Zebra Nucleus Connector
.
This guide walks you through the enrollment procedure.
You must have access to
Nucleus
and
Zebra Nucleus Connector
before proceeding. For more information on
Nucleus
, refer to the Zebra
Nucleus
User Guide.
Printers using a static network setup will experience Nucleus enrollment failures. This occurs because the static configuration lacks the required DNS settings needed to resolve hostnames for the Weblink connection.
Locate the QR code in
Nucleus
using one of the following options:
Complete the Printer Setup Wizard until you reach the Setup Guide screen. Select
Via Nucleus Connector (Mobile App)
to display the QR code.
From New Printer Setup, click
Open Setup Guide
. This opens the Printer Setup Wizard directly at the Setup Guide screen. Select
Via Nucleus Connector (Mobile App)
to display the QR code.
Scan the QR code using your mobile phone's camera to open
Zebra Nucleus Connector
.
Zebra Nucleus Connector
opens at the Begin Enrollment screen.
Tap
Begin Enrollment
.
Select a discovery method to find and connect your printer. Go to Printer Discovery Methods for instructions on pairing your device.
After pairing, your printer will appear as Connected on the Enroll Printers screen.
Tap
Enroll Printer
.
Your printer appears in
Nucleus
. From here, you can:
Enroll another printer by tapping
Enroll New Printer
.
Tap
X
to exit
Nucleus
printer enrollment. You are taken to the Printer Dashboard.
