Changing Printer Security Settings

Changing Printer Security Settings

You can modify your security configurations at any time after the initial setup. The following procedures describe how to update these settings.
  1. From the Printer Dashboard, tap
    Security Settings Wizard
    .

  2. Review the EU RED information on the following screen, and then tap
    Begin Security Settings Wizard
    .
  3. Enter your password, and then tap
    Next
    .
    If you have forgotten your password, go to Forgotten Protected Mode Password.
  4. Navigate through the Protected Mode Settings screens and change any security settings as needed. Tap
    Apply Settings
     when finished.
    Options to change the password and PIN (for devices with front panel) are now available.
Your updated settings are applied to the printer, and you are returned to the Printer Dashboard screen.
