Creating a Smart Group

Creating a Smart Group

To create a smart group:
  1. Navigate to
    Groups and Settings
    Groups
    Assignment Groups
    . Click
    Add Smart Group
     (1).
    Add Smart Group
    The
    Edit Smart Group
     page displays.
  2. Enter a
    Name
     (1).
    Edit Smart Group
  3. Click
    Devices or Users
     (2) to assign the list of enrolled devices.
  4. Select your enrolled
    Devices
     (3).
    Do not select anything under user
    Gouri Maranoor, GM9615@zebra.com
     (4), as this is for reference purposes. Select your device user.
  5. Click
    Save
     (5).
  6. After creating the smart group, proceed with the following:
    1. Navigate to
      Devices
      Components
      Files/Actions
      . Click
      Add Files/Actions
       (1).
      Files Action
      The
      Add Files/Actions
       page displays.
    2. Select
      Android
       (1) and provide a
      Name
       (2).
      Android App
      General
    3. Navigate to
      Files
       and add all the supporting files with the path set to
      /sdcard/Download
      .
      Files
    4. Navigate to
      Manifest
       and click
      Add Manifest
      .
      Add Manifest
    5. Select
      Apply Custom Settings
       (1) from the option.
    6. Select the file
      ZamsDeviceAutoInstall.xml
       (2) from the option.
    7. Click
      Save
       and also
      Save
       the profile.
