Configuring the Start App

Configure the Start App button sing the GUI.

Start Application defines a button to launch another application on the device. When the button is pressed, Zebra Voice minimizes running in the background, and the defined application launches. For example, a button can be placed in the Dashboard to open an email application.

Select the new button. A yellow box appears around the selected button.

Select the check box next to

Confirm On Click

to enable this (the default is Disabled).

and select the application from the

Select App Package

menu.

In the

Title

field, enter the application name.

In the

Description

field, enter a short description of the button function.

and select an icon from the

to set the foreground text color. See Setting Button Text Color.

Back

button to return to the Zebra Voice home screen.
