The
Outbound Proxy
field has been introduced, where one must enter the outbound proxy details. To do so, one must check the WebEx Server configuration.
If the
Outbound Proxy
field is empty; one must enter the valid server address inside the
Server Address
field.
If the Outbound Proxy field is not empty, the Server Address field will be hidden from the PBX Configuration settings, and vice versa.
If both are configured from JSON or XML, the Outbound Proxy value takes priority, and the Server Address value is ignored.
PBX Configuration Screen
The Server Address, Server Address2, and Server Address3 fields from the UI remain hidden if the Outbound Proxy field has values.
PBX Configuration Screen
The Outbound Proxy field remains hidden If any of the Server Address, Server Address2, and Server Address3 fields have values.
Outbound Proxy Screen
While upgrading the Voice Client from the previous version, one must ensure to update the old server address value to the Outbound Proxy field as going forward, the Server Address(DNS) field is related to the Outbound Proxy field, and the Server Address field is only for specific Server Address and not for the Outbound Proxy address.

Voice Mail

Users can listen to voicemail by dialing a valid voicemail number, providing a valid password, or clicking on the voicemail icon on the home screen right next to line information.
Updates and Known Issues
  1. The following feature Access Codes are not necessary and can be ignored for validation.
    1. Cancel Call Waiting
    2. Webex Anywhere E.164 Dialing
    3. Connected Line Identification Restriction Interrogation
    4. Music On Hold Per-Call Deactivation
    5. Speed Dial 100
  2. When DUT2 clicks the
    Hold
, there is a little noise around 500 milliseconds in DUT1, and the Hold tone is not audible to a few devices.
  3. A complete conference option is seen in DUT1 when the DUT3 device rejects the call since it redirects to voicemail and the session is active; the same behavior is observed in WebEx.
  4. The call disconnects if there is any disconnection of the internet or the coverage area.
  5. The conference call with the host is displayed as "conf" since the necessary details from the PBX server have not been sent.
  6. Some call flows may not work correctly if the proper codec is not selected, and Voice Client can not notify the user with a pop-up as the PBX server does not send the proper error codes.
  7. If the user registers again with the same extension on the same device, the Voice Client does not receive the MWI message and therefore the voicemail count is not updated.
