Call Settings

To modify phone call settings, on the Home screen, touch
blue phone icon
menu icon of three round dots

Not all options are available for all configurations
  • Caller ID & spam
    • See caller and spam ID
       - Enable to identify business and spam numbers.
    • Filter spam calls
       - Enable to prevent suspected spam calls from disturbing you.
  • Accessibility
    • Hearing aids
       - Select to enable hearing aid compatibility.
  • Assisted dialing
     - Predicts and adds a country code when you travel abroad and make a call.
    • Default home country
       - Select a home country.
      Automatically detected
       is the default setting.
  • Blocked numbers
    • Add a number
       - Add a phone number to block.
    • Unknown
       - Enable to block calls from unidentified callers.
  • Calling accounts
    • Settings
       - Touch a mobile provider to display options for that provider.
      • Fixed Dialing Numbers
         - Set only to allow the phone to dial the phone number(s) or area code(s) specified in a Fixed Dialing list.
      • Call forwarding
         - Set to forward incoming calls to a different phone number.
        Call Forwarding may not be available on all networks. Check with the service provider for availability.
    • Vibrating for outgoing call accepted
       - Enable vibrating mode for outgoing call accepted.
    • SIP accounts
       - Choose to receive internet calls for accounts added to the device, view or change SIP accounts, or add an internet calling account.
    • Use SIP calling
       - Set to

    • Receive incoming calls
       - Enable to allow incoming calls.
    • Wi-Fi calling
       - Enable to allow Wi-Fi calling and set the Wi-Fi calling preference.
    • Call barring
       - Set to block certain types of incoming or outgoing calls.
  • Display options
    • Sort by
       - Set to

  • Nearby places
     - Use your location to find nearby places that match your search query from the phone app.
  • Quick responses
     - Touch to edit quick responses to use instead of answering a call.
  • Sounds and vibrations
     - Touch or slide to edit the general sound settings for the device.
  • Voicemail
     - Configure voicemail settings.
    • Notifications
       - Configure voicemail notification settings.
      • Show notifications
         - Enable or disable voicemail notifications.
      • Default
         - Based on your phone settings, this notification setting may ring or vibrate.
      • Silent
         - Silence the sound and vibration notifications when a voicemail is received.
      • Pop on screen
         - Display notifications as a banner from the top of the screen when a device is unlocked.
      • Sound
         - Select a sound to play for notifications from this app.
      • Vibration
         - Allow notifications to vibrate the device.
      • Lock screen
         - Notification settings on the lock screen.
        • Show all notification content
           (default)
        • Show sensitive content only when unlocked
        • Don't show notifications at all
      • Blink light
         - Allow notifications with the blue LED light.
      • Show notification dot
         - Allow notifications to add a notification dot to the app icon.
      • Override Do Not Disturb
         - Allow notifications to interrupt when Do Not Disturb is enabled.
    • Advanced Settings
      • Service
         - Set the service provider or other provider for voicemail service.
      • Setup
         - Select to update the phone number used to access voicemail.
  • Accessibility
    • Hearing aids
       - Select to enable hearing aid compatibility.
  • Caller ID announcement
     - The caller's name and number are read out loud for incoming calls.
  • Flip to Silence
     - To silence an incoming call, place the device face down on a flat surface.
