Mounting Instructions

Depending on the mounting orientation and configuration, you may need to use different screws. Use the guidance in this section to understand what screws are appropriate for your use case.
If you are mounting the scanner directly onto the bracket, use 6.25 mm screws.
  1. Refer to the dimensional drawings for mounting hole placements on the device.
  2. Align the holes on the mounting surface with the mounting holes on the device.
  3. Insert 6.25 mm screws into the mounting holes and tighten using a Torx T8 screwdriver. The recommended torque is 2 to 3 Nm / 17 to 26 lbf-in.
Compact Bracket (BRKT-LMNT-C000)
The FS10 can be mounted on the compact bracket with various mounting orientations and angles. The available options depend on the combination of FS10 mounting holes and the bracket’s holes and slots. Additionally, the bottom mounting holes on the FS10 may be used for installation (not shown here).
Adjustable Bracket (BRKT-LMNT-C002)
The FS10 can be mounted on the adjustable bracket using (2) screws instead of (4). Using (2) screws provides a wider range of mounting orientations and angles. The available options depend on the combination of FS10 mounting holes and the bracket’s holes and slots. Additionally, the rear mounting holes on the FS10 may be used for installation (not shown here).
Use 8 mm screws and a Torx T10 screwdriver if you are mounting the compact or adjustable bracket on top of the cable guard or deflective mirror using common mounting holes.
