command was not used to save your configuration before turning the printer off. Cycle the printer OFF and then back ON to verify settings have been saved.
Cause: Incorrect Label Syntax
The label format/form commands or commands sent directly to the printer have syntax errors or have been used incorrectly.
An internal command or other action turned off the ability to change the parameter.
An internal command or other action changed the parameter back to the default setting.

Reset printer settings. Sometimes it is helpful to reset the printer to factory default.
Update printer firmware in case of memory corruption.
