Transferring Photos

Use PTP to copy photos from the device to the host computer.
It is recommended to install a microSD card in the device for storing photos due to limited internal storage.
  1. Connect the device to a host computer using a USB accessory.
  2. On the device, pull down the Notification panel and touch
    Charging this device via USB
    .
    The USB Preferences screen displays.
  3. Under
    Use USB
    , touch
    PTP
    .
  4. Under
    This PC
    , touch
    Transfer photos PTP
    .
  5. On the host computer, open
    File Explorer
    .
  6. Under
    This PC
    , locate the device and open it.
  7. Open the SD card or the Internal shared storage folder.
  8. Copy or delete photos as required.
  9. On the USB Preferences screen under
    Use USB
    , touch
    No data transfer
     to end the transfer process.
