Management Settings

Management settings control the PTT button for supported headsets, the default tab view, and Bluetooth audio.
PTT Button
Specifies the type of headset hardware. Options include Default (Toggle), Two Pulse, Bluetooth LE, Aina Voice Responder, BlueParrot Headsets, and None.

Default Tab View
After completing any activity, the user is returned to the default screen specified by this setting. Possible values include Recent, Contacts, Map, Last Used, or Server Driven.
Allow Bluetooth Audio
Enables the use of a supported Bluetooth headset for call audio.
Enable MOTD (Message of the Day)
Enable this setting to specify the URL and API token for the Interworking Gateway (IWG). IWG enables the user to create, attach, and send an audio or video file with a text message to a list of recipients. When the recipients log on, or when the message is received, the attached media file is played on the recipient’s device.
  • IWG URL is the address to the MOTD server.
  • API Key is the authentication token for the IWG.
The Enable MOTD (Message of the Day setting is not supported. Refer to the
Zebra Enterprise Messaging Service Customer Administrator Guide
 for information about messaging that includes media files.
