Charging the Device by USB Cable

The Rugged Charge/USB Cable inserts into the bottom of the device. When attached to the device, the cable allows charging and data transfer to a host computer.
Not all USB cables support data transfer. Before attempting data transfer, ensure the USB cable supports it.
  1. Locate the USB-C port (1).

  2. Insert the USB-C cable into the USB-C port on the device.

  3. Connect the USB connector to the power supply.
    Go to Power Supply with Plug Adapters for information on setting up the power supply. By default, the device includes an interface connector. If the interface connector is removed for USB-C cable connectivity, it must be replaced before charging or receiving an Ethernet IP address when placed in a cradle.
  4. Plug the power supply into a power outlet.
