(Optional) Installing the Security Plate

Mount the assembly to a secure surface using the security plate.
The correct power supplies must be installed on the assembly before mounting the assembly to a surface using the security plate. Go to Installing the Power Supplies for instructions.
  1. Place the Security Mounting Plate on the installation surface.
  2. Mark the location of the four screw holes on your installation surface.
  3. If necessary, pre-drill the holes in the surface.
The M5x30 wood screws included with the security plate do not require pre-drilling into a wood surface. If installing into a different surface, such as stainless steel, use appropriate screws.
  4. Align the security mounting plate with the marked location.
  5. Insert the four mounting screws.
