Attaching the Printer Mounting Plate to the Printer

Attach the printer mounting plate to the underside of the printer.
  1. Place the printer upside down on a clean, soft surface.
  2. Position the mounting plate with the two forks (1) at the front of the printer and the center tab (2) at the rear.

  3. Align the three holes in the mounting plate with the three holes in the printer.
  4. Fasten the mounting plate to the printer using four M3x8 pan-head, thread-forming screws from the parts kit.
    Tighten each screw until it contacts the mounting plate. Overtightening strips the plastic threads.
  5. Verify the mounting plate is secure.
  6. Set the printer and mounting plate assembly aside.
