Routing the Cables

Route the printer power, data, and tablet power cables through the base before installing the printer.
  1. Turn the unit upright.
  2. Feed approximately 15 cm (5 in.) of the printer PSU output cable through the U-shaped slot on the rear panel.
    Leave enough cable for the DC plug to reach the printer's power input port. Coil the excess cable inside the base and secure it with a cable tie.

  3. Feed the USB Type-B data cable through the same U-shaped slot.
    If the printer does not use USB data, leave this cable inside the base as shown above.
  4. Plug the tablet power cable into the connector on the rear of the ET4x PSU. Push the connector until the latch engages.
