The expansion module provides serial RS-232 and Ethernet connections.
Ensure that power to the RS-232 connector has been enabled in the BIOS. See

Slide the access door switch to the down position.
Open the access door.
Insert the cable connector into the connector port. For RS-232 connector, tighten the thumb screws.
