Controlling Lock Screen Notifications

Control whether notifications can be seen when the device is locked.
On Android 11:
  1. Go to
    Settings
    .
  2. Touch
    Apps & notifications
    Notifications
    .
  3. Touch
    Notifications on lockscreen
     and select one of the following:
    • Show alerting and silent notifications (default)
    • Show alerting notifications only
    • Don’t show notifications
      .
  4. On Android 13:
  5. Go to
    Settings > Notifications > Notifications on lock screen
     and select one of the following:
    • Show conversations, default, and silent
       (default option).
    • Hide silent conversations and notifications
      .
    • Don't show any notifications
      .
