Unpacking the Device

Unpack the device from the box and ensure all equipment is included.
  1. Carefully remove all protective material from the device and save the container for later storage and shipping.
  2. Verify that the following are included:
    • Zebra Integrated Multifunction Light (ZIML)
    • FS80 or FS42 Adapter Plate (with required fasteners)
      Ensure you are using the correct adapter plate based on your device.

  3. Inspect the equipment for damage. If any equipment is missing or damaged, contact the Global Customer Support Center immediately.
  4. Before using the device for the first time, remove the protective shipping film that covers the device.
The Power and IO Y cable is not included with the light. Ensure you are using the correct cable with your device.
  • For the FS80, use CBL-PWR00500-M1210.
