Configuring Live Caption

Live Caption detects speech on your device and automatically generates captions.
  1. To enable, touch
    Live Caption
    Use Live Caption

  2. To change the language captions are shown in, touch
    Languages
    .
    1. Toggle on
      Suggest detected languages
       to have detected languages suggested for captions.
  3. To adjust caption size and style, touch
    Caption Preferences

      Text size
      , options include:
      • Very small
      • Small
      • Medium
      • Large
        (default)
      • Very large
    3. Touch
      Caption style
      , options include:
      • Set by app
      • White on black
      • Black on white
         (default)
      • Yellow on black
      • Yellow on blue
      • Custom
    4. To see additional languages, touch
      More options
      .
  4. To filter profanity from displaying in captions, touch the
    Hide profanity
     toggle.
  5. To label certain sounds, like laughter, applause, and music touch the
    Show sound labels
     toggle.
  6. To have live caption show up in volume controls, touch the
    Live Caption in volume control
     toggle.
