Replacing the Battery

Replacing the Battery

This section describes how to replace the
TC701
 battery.
User modification of the device, particularly in the battery well, such as labels, asset tags, engravings, stickers, and so on, may compromise the intended performance of the device or accessories. Performance levels such as sealing (Ingress Protection (IP)), impact performance (drop and tumble), functionality, temperature resistance, etc. could be effected. DO NOT put any labels, asset tags, engravings, stickers, etc. in the battery well.
Do not add or remove the SIM or microSD cards during battery replacement.
  1. Power off the device.
  2. Push both battery latches inward.

    Do not attempt to insert fingers under the latches when pulling on the battery. Damage to the latches may occur.
  3. While gripping the battery latches, lift the depleted battery out of the device.

  4. Insert the new battery, bottom first, into the battery compartment in the back of the device.

  5. Press the new battery down into the device until the release latches click into place.
