The TC78 charging LED does not light up.
The cradle is not receiving power.
Ensure that the power input cable is securely connected to the cradle's power port.
The TC78 battery is not charging.
The battery is faulty.
Ensure that you are using a wireless charge battery. Replace the battery.
The TC78 was not placed correctly in the cradle.
The TC78 battery charging LED slowly blinks amber when the TC78 is correctly inserted and charging. If this is not happening:
  • Ensure that the device is seated properly.
  • Remove the TC78 from the cradle, and reinsert it correctly. If the battery still does not charge, contact your system administrator.
The ambient temperature is too high or too low.
The ambient temperature within the vehicle may be too high or too low. Charging will begin when the temperature inside the vehicle is within the TC78 charging temperature range (0° C to 40° C/32° F to 104° F).
