The removable battery allows for replacement and maintenance.
Ensure the device is completely dry before replacing the battery. If you recently dried the device, remove the battery with the device oriented face-up to ensure no water enters the battery cavity.
Power off the device.
Disconnect the device from all accessories.
Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
Identify the battery release latch. Slide this latch to disengage the battery (1).
Slide the battery out of the device (2).
Inspect the battery for any signs of damage or debris and store the battery in a safe and dry location.
