Idle Display, Home Menu, and User Menus

Use the printer’s control panel display to view the printer’s status and review or change its operating parameters.
After the printer completes the power-up sequence, it moves to the Idle Display. If a print server is installed, the printer cycles through its IP address and information configured by the user.

Home menu shortcut
Use the Home menu (see Figure 2) to access the printer’s operating parameters through the eight user menus shown in Changing Printer Settings through the User Menus.
