As a component in the Zebra Solution Architecture, the Zebra Provisioning Manager provides two main functions:
As a crucial component in Zebra Voice Client licensing, the Provisioning Manager allows the administrator to display Zebra Voice licenses and the devices to which they are assigned. It also obsoletes the devices with licenses, which releases the licenses.

The Provisioning Manager allows the bootstrapping method to download configuration information to the various Zebra clients. Bootstrapping can simplify configuration by eliminating the need to download configuration files directly to the device. The administrator can use the Provisioning Manager to associate the configuration snippets with tokens, which are then used at the device to retrieve the configuration information.
In support of Zebra Voice Licensing and Bootstrapping, the Provisioning Manager offers the following administrative functions:
A dashboard that provides an overview of licensing and token requests.
Reports provide a history of device requests as well as an event log.
The administrator can use these functions to monitor the activity of the Provisioning Manager.
