Prioritized Messages

Users who send messages through the
PTT Pro for Android
or the
ZEMS Web Client
can add a priority to messages. The user can assign a priority to one-to-one messages, group messages, and broadcast messages, provided the user is a manager in ZEMS. When you read a message through the
Conversation
view, you can see the priority of the message.
In the following example, a one-to-one message has a priority of urgent. A text label and an icon indicate the priority.

Prioritized messages in the Conversation view display the priority in a label above the message.

Icon for standard message.
A normal message.
Icon for important message.
A message marked as important.
Icon for urgent message.
A message marked as urgent. When a user receives an urgent message, an alert sound occurs every two minutes until the message is marked read. The urgent message alert is repeated for a specified interval. The default interval for
PTT Pro for Android
is 10 minutes. The default interval for the
ZEMS Web Client
is 20 minutes.
