Configure IWG to Send Audio or Text Messages

Configure a destination PTT Pro group or PTT Pro user in ZEMS as an IWG endpoint to send an audio or text message from ZEMS to PTT Pro. For the IWG endpoint to reach the destination PTT Pro group or user, ZEMS communicates with the
PTT Pro Server
using a proxy user.
The
PTT Pro server
is unaware that the proxy user is not a normal PTT Pro user. The proxy user acts like any other PTT Pro user, but instead of running on a device, it runs on the ZEMS server and forwards communications from the Messenger and Announcer APIs. Proxy users must be configured in PTT Pro as users.
When you add an IWG endpoint, ZEMS adds the proxy user to the PTT Pro server. ZEMS does not support multiple simultaneous transactions for a single IWG endpoint. Only one audio message using that endpoint may occur simultaneously. If an audio communication comes in for an endpoint employed in another audio communication, the second audio communication will fail. A message will fail if a message comes in for an endpoint employed in an audio communication.
