Use a microSD card to install applications on your device.
When connecting the device to a host computer and mounting the microSD card, follow the host computer’s instructions for connecting and disconnecting USB devices, to avoid damaging or corrupting files.
Copy the APK file to the root of the microSD card.
Copy the APK file to a microSD card using a host computer (see USB Communication for more information), and then install the microSD card into the device (see Replacing the microSD Card for more information).
Connect the device with a microSD card already installed to the host computer, and copy the .apk file to the microSD card. See USB Communication for more information. Disconnect the device from the host computer.
Connect the device to a host computer using USB.
Copy the application APK file from the host computer to the microSD card.
Remove the microSD card from the host computer.
Press and hold the Power button on the device until the menu appears.

Slide the battery release latch to the unlock position and hold in the unlock position.
Disengage the battery cover from either the right or left side recess grooves, and let go of the battery release latch.
Hold the battery cover near the right and left side recess grooves and pull the battery cover off.
Remove the battery.
Using your finger, pull out the SD/SIM card drawer.
Remove the SD/SIM card drawer from the device.
Insert the microSD card into the SD/SIM card drawer.
Insert the SD/SIM card drawer into the device.
Press the SD/SIM card drawer into the device to ensure it is in securely.
Align the contacts, slide the battery in position on an angle, and insert the battery, top first, into the battery compartment in the back of the device.
Press the bottom of the battery down into the battery compartment.
Insert and align the cover into the bottom latches.
Push the cover down into the top latches, until it snaps into place.
Press and hold
Power
to turn on the device.
Swipe the screen up and select to view files on the microSD card.
Touch
SD card
.
Locate the application APK file.
Touch the application file.
Touch
Continue
to install the app or
Cancel
to stop the installation.
To confirm installation and accept what the application affects, touch
to view files on the microSD card.
