Loading Media in Tear-Off Mode

This procedure describes loading media in Tear-Off mode.

Open the printer.

Press the Latch Release button (1) on the side of the printer.

The media cover releases.

Rotate the media cover (2) backward completely, exposing the media compartment and adjustable media supports.

Pull the media supports apart and insert the roll of media between the supports in the orientation shown.

The supports secure the media in place and adjust to the width of the media. The media roll should be able to spin freely on the supports.

Close the media cover.

Refer to the Programming Guide for information on changing the setting to adjust the media feed length via a Set-Get-Do (SGD).
