Beeper Volume

Beeper Volume

(SSI # 8Ch)

This parameter selects a beeper volume.

When set to Auto Volume, the scanner will automatically select Medium or High volume based on the detected power input.

USB A (500mA) results in a medium volume.

USB A (BC1.2) results in a high volume.

External 12VDC power source results in High volume.

Selecting High volume while connected to USB A (500mA) will result in the scanner exceeding USB certification power limits.

For extra loud environments, set the following barcode to create a louder and more discernible beep. This will set Beeper Volume (140) to High Volume (0) and Scan Tone (145) to Extra High (12).
