Getting Started

The SP72 Single Plane Scanner provides intuitive, hands-free scanning. The scanner reads all standard retail symbologies and interfaces to all popular Point of Sale (POS) devices.
The SP72 is available in two unique form factors:
  • SP72-V (Vertical) for on-counter applications.
  • SP72-H (Horizontal) for in-counter applications.
The SP72 is also available in two tiers to match specific feature requirements and budget:
  • The SP7208 premium-level scanner combines optimal performance with advanced features, such as a color camera option to support vision-based applications.
  • The SP7201 base-level scanner offers SP7208 performance but at a lower price, including only the essential features needed for many of today’s applications.
