To change speaker tone, hold the Volume Control button on the front of the scanner (see Features) for three seconds or longer.
While the speaker cycles through the available tones, release the Volume Control button when you hear the desired tone. This allows you to adjust the speaker tone, but does not allow you to disable the tone.
Alternatively, scan a barcode in Scan Tone to change or disable the speaker tone.
The Volume/Tone Button parameter barcodes can be used to prevent the speaker tone from being changed.
