Verify that the necessary departments, groups, and users are synced from the
PTT Pro Server
and present in ZEMS before adding an IWG endpoint. It may take 24 hours for new departments, groups, and users to sync from the
PTT Pro Server
to ZEMS.
Licensing is not required for IWG endpoints. However, the PTT Pro proxy user uses a PTT Pro user license when it is added to the PTT Pro server.
When an IWG endpoint is deleted, the proxy user is not deleted from the
PTT Pro Server
. You must delete the proxy user manually.
To add IWG endpoints, use one of the following methods:
Use the
Endpoints
screen to add, delete, and modify IWG endpoints. You can also verify that the proxy exists and is functioning properly.
Use the ZEMS API IWG.Endpoints controller to add, delete, and modify IWG endpoints. You can also use the API to retrieve and verify endpoint information.
Use the ZEMS API IWG.Import controller to bulk add IWG endpoints.
