Windows to Printer Communication Setup (Overview)

For supported Windows Operating systems (most common) with a Local (wired) connection:
  1. Download the Zebra Setup Utilities from the Zebra Web site. See zebra.com/setup.
  2. Run the Zebra Setup Utilities from your Download directory.
  3. Select
    Install New Printer
    and run the install wizard.
  4. Select
    Install Printer
    .
  5. Select the printer’s model number from the list of ZDesigner printers.
  6. Select the USB port to connect to the PC. Use the interface to assist the Wizard-guided installation of networked or Bluetooth Classic.
  7. Turn the printer ON and configure printer communications for your interface type.
  8. Use the Windows driver to print a test page to verify operation with Windows. From the printer properties of the printer's driver, select the
    General
    window tab, and then click the
    Print Test Page
    button.
