Mounting the SP72-V Using the Riser Mount

To mount the scanner to the tabletop or wall:
  1. See Installing Cables to connect all interface and power cables. Replace the back cover and verify the cables are routed properly.
  2. Place the flat surface of the Riser Mount on the tabletop or wall in the desired scanner location and using a pencil through the screw holes on the top of the mount, mark the two mounting holes.
  3. Drill two #10 pilot holes on the marked locations.
  4. Place the Riser Mount in position over the pilot holes and insert the two provided #10 wood screws through the holes to fasten to the mounting surface.
  5. Align the scanner mounting slots with the plastic tabs on the mount.
  6. Slide the scanner forward until it clicks into place, with the plastic tabs in the scanner mounting slots.
  7. If table-top mounted, use the integrated pivot to adjust the angle of the scanner 15
    o
    forward as needed.
  8. If wall-mounted, use the integrated pivot to adjust the angle of the scanner 15
    o
    to 45
    o
    backward.
