Configuring a Secure Wi-Fi Network

Add a Wi-Fi network on the device to connect to the internet.
  1. Go to
    Settings
    .
  2. Select
    Network & Internet
    .
  3. Select
    Internet
    .
  4. Toggle
    ON
    .
    The device searches for WLANs in the area and lists them on the screen.
  5. Scroll through the list and select the desired WLAN network.
  6. Select the desired network. If the network security is
    Open
    , the device automatically connects to the network. For all other network securities, a dialog box opens.
  7. If network security is
    WPA/WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise
    :
    1. Select the
      EAP method
      drop-down list and select one of the following:
      • PEAP
      • TLS
      • TTLS
      • WD
      • SIM
      • AKA
      • AKA'
      • LEAP
    2. Fill in the appropriate information. Options vary depending on the
      EAP method
      chosen.
      • When selecting
        CA certificate
        , Certification Authority (CA) certificates are installed using the Security settings.
      • When using the EAP methods
        PEAP, TLS,
        or
        TTLS
        , specify a domain.
      • Select
        Advanced options
        to display additional network options
  8. If the network security is
    WPA3-Enterprise 192-bit
    :
    • Select
      CA certificate
      and select a Certification Authority (CA) certificate.
      Certificates are installed using the Security settings.
    • Select
      User certificate
      and select a user certificate.
      User certificates are installed using the Security settings.
    • In the
      Identity
      text box, enter the username credentials
  9. By default, the network Proxy is set to
    None
    and the IP settings are set to
    DHCP

  10. Select
    Connect
    .
