Installing a C-Mount Lens

Installing a C-Mount Lens

Install a C-Mount lens onto the scanner and secure the IP lens cover to maintain IP67 conformity.
Consider wearing gloves while installing the lens to avoid fingerprints or dust. Do not clean with an alcohol-based cleaning solution or fluids directly onto the lens. Instead, use a can of compressed air or a lens cleaning cloth to remove fingerprints or dust.
  1. Disconnect the power from the scanner.
  2. If attached, unscrew the IP lens cover from the scanner.
  3. Screw the lens cover base adapter into the housing, then screw the lens onto it.
  4. Slide the top cover over the lens and screw it into the camera's housing until it is firmly in place.
    The lens cover and connector cap must be in place to maintain IP67 conformity.
  5. Reconnect the power to the scanner.
