You can use the hardware options to mount the cradle or stick the 3M Dual Lock Fasteners on the cradle and surface. Refer to the fastener documentation for more information.
Ensure the cradle latch faces downward.
Push the latch out of its slot.
Orient the latch such that its tab faces toward the cradle.
Slide the latch into its slot until it clicks audibly into place.
Position the cradle on the mounting surface and mark the top and bottom edges.
Measure in from your markings to determine where to drill the holes.
To use the threaded screw holes, measure in 65 mm (2.5 in.) from the top and 100 mm (3.9 in.) from the bottom.
To use the keyhole mounts, measure in 55 mm (2.2 in.) from the top and 74.5 mm (2.9 in.) from the bottom.
Pre-drill holes to accommodate the desired fastener.
Attach all required interface and power cables.
Press the cables into the cable grooves.
Secure the fasteners to the wall/vertical surface.
Secure the cradle to the fastener.
To use the threaded screw holes, use a screwdriver to secure two M4 screws to the cradle. The screws can penetrate a maximum of 5 mm (0.2 in.) into the cradle.
To use the keyhole mounts, hang the cradle on the fastener.
The cradle is mounted, and you can insert the scanner.
