Shutting Off the Battery
You can shut off the battery or put it into ship mode to preserve the battery level for long-term periods of inactivity such as shipping or storage.
Battery Ship Mode: Puts the battery into Shipping Mode. Power to the scanner is cut off.
Shipping Mode does not apply to PowerCaps.
Battery Off Mode: Turns off the battery and PowerCap.
Scan the appropriate barcode

Turning the Battery Back On
Dock the scanner into a cradle to exit Shipping Mode.
Pull the trigger to exit Battery Off mode.
You must dock a scanner with a PowerCap in Battery Off mode to turn the scanner back on.
