This parameter controls the number of reconnect and associated sleep attempts the scanner makes before stopping. Once the retry limit is reached, the scanner no longer attempts to reconnect to the host.
After the retry period expires, if the trigger is pulled, the scanner restarts the auto-reconnect and sleep sequence.
