Signature Capture Bits Per Pixel

Signature Capture Bits Per Pixel

Parameter #
314
(SSI # F0h 3Ah)
This parameter allows to adjust the bits per pixel (BPP) when capturing a signature.
Select the number of significant bits per pixel (BPP) used to capture a signature:
  • 1 BPP - For a black and white image.
  • 4 BPP - Assigns 1 of 16 levels of grey to each pixel.
  • 8 BPP - Assigns 1 of 256 levels of grey to each pixel.
The imager ignores these settings for JPEG file formats, which only support 8 BPP.
