Enable ZEMS messaging in your
Workcloud Communication PTT Pro
 clients using the same method you use to configure other client features. Zebra will provide the required information such as the URL for the ZEMS server and the API key.
After the
Workcloud Communication PTT Pro
 apps are configured with the required information, users can message other users or groups at their site. The
Zebra Enterprise Messaging Service Client User Guide
 describes how to send messages and view received messages.
  • The
    PTT Pro PC Client
     does not support ZEMS. Use the
    ZEMS Web Client
     to send and receive messages on a desktop PC.
  • Messages sent through the IWG Messenger API will not be received by ZEMS users. Announcements sent through the IWG Announcer API will operate as normal.
