To simplify and speed up the setup process, install all connectivity modules and media handling options before setting up and using your printer for the first time.
Zebra strongly recommends that you update your printer’s firmware after the printer has completed the setup process. (See Updating Printer Firmware). Many of these options have internal firmware that require an update to operate properly with the printer’s main logic board’s installed firmware version.
