Installing the Linerless Media Tear-Off Bezel

To install the standard media cutter, you must remove the standard bezel and disconnect DC input power to the printer. See Removing the Standard Bezel.

Open the printer, remove the standard platen roller, and replace it with the linerless platen roller. See Cleaning and Replacing the Platen. For a list of compatible platen rollers, Installing the Printhead Resolution Upgrade Kits.

Place the tear-off bezel module and printer right side up, with the top of the module even with the bottom of the top cover. Center and push the module into the front of the printer and slide it up until it stops.

Turn the printer upside down and attach the module to the printer with the two screws using the Torx wrench.
