Test Printing with the Configuration Report

Before you connect the printer to a computer, make sure that the printer is in proper working order. You can do this by printing a configuration report.
The information in the Configuration Report may be help with printer installation and troubleshooting.
  1. Make sure the media (and ribbon, if you printing on Thermal Transfer media) are loaded properly in the printer and the printer's top cover is closed.
  2. Turn printer power ON.
  3. After the printer enters ready state (the STATUS indicator lights solid green), press and hold
    FEED
    and
    CANCEL
    for two seconds and release.
The Printer and Network Configuration Reports print. When the printer stops, the STATUS indicator turns solid green.
