Mounting the
CR8288
 Standard Cradle

Mount the cradle on a wall or other vertical surface.
  1. Remove the scanner latch.
  2. Orient the latch to face upwards and reinsert it in its slot.
  3. Position the cradle on the mounting surface and mark the surface on either side of the cradle.
  4. Pre-drill holes to accommodate your mounting option
    Option
    Description
    Threaded screw holes
    Pre-drill holes to accommodate the two threaded screws. Drill the holes 45.5 (1.8 in.) apart.
    Keyhole mounts
    Attach the fasteners to the surface 81 mm (3.2 in.) apart.
  5. Attach the interface cable.
  6. Press the cable into the cable grooves and route it through the cradle.
  7. Mount the cradle.

    Description
    Threaded screw holes
    Secure a screw through the wall/vertical surface and into the threaded screw holes.
    Keyhole mounts
    Secure the fasteners to the wall and hang the cradle on the fasteners.
The cradle is mounted, and you can insert the scanner.
