Battery
/Power Cap

The
scanner
includes two power options: a PowerPrecesion+ battery and a PowerCap capacitor.
We recommend you fully charge the battery before the first use. The PowerCap is fully charged when shipped. The scanner must be inserted into the charging cradle to enable the PowerCap the first time it is used.
The PowerPrecision+ battery and PowerCap capacitor both report their model and serial numbers, which allows the user to always know which power source is in each scanner. The PowerPrecision+ battery is ideal for scanning whether the scanner is near the cradle or away for extended periods. On a single charge, the PowerPrecision+ provides over three around-the-clock days of continuous scanning, plus metrics for better battery management.
The PowerCap capacitor is ideal when the scanner can always be inserted into a charging cradle when not in use. The PowerCap capacitor provides
6,000
scans on a full charge and 100 scans after 35 seconds in the cradle.
