If you select a medium or high Bluetooth security mode, you may be required to enter a pairing code. Use the 6-digit code displayed on the host device.
When a scanner's Bluetooth Security Setting is set to medium or high, pair the scanner and host device with a pairing code.
The scanner emits an
Alpha expected
auditory beep.
The host device displays a 6-digit pairing code.
Point the scanner at the pairing code and press the trigger.
The scanner decodes the pairing code and pairs with the host device.
If this fails, you can scan the pairing code one digit at a time using Alphanumeric Barcodes.
