You can connect the cradle to both a host device and a power supply simultaneously. Zebra recommends using
12 V
DC power if you require the fastest charging speed.
When a host device does not provide sufficient power to power the cradle and charge the scanner, you can provide additional DC power:
Use an RJ50 connected to a host and a USB-C cable connected to a DC power supply source.
Use a CBA-U42-S07PAR cable to connect the cradle to both a DC power supply and the host.
This product must be connected with a power cord to a socket outlet with an earthing connection.
Always connect the cradle, then the DC power supply and finally the hosts device.
Always disconnect the DC power supply first before disconnecting the cable from the host. Disconnecting the host cable first may cause the cradle to not recognize the new host.
