Installing Applications Using a USB Drive

Installing Applications Using a USB Drive

Use a USB drive to install applications on the device.
USB Drive must have FAT32 format.
  1. Copy the APK file to the root of a USB drive.
    • Copy the APK file to a USB drive using a host computer, and then install the USB drive into the device.
    • Connect the device (with a USB drive already installed) to the host computer, copy the APK file to the USB drive, and then disconnect the device from the host computer.
  2. Plug the USB drive into the USB port on the device.
    A notification appears indicating that the device detected the USB drive.
  3. Swipe the screen up and select File app icon to view files on the USB drive.
  4. Touch
    USB drive
    .
  5. Locate the application APK file.
  6. Touch the application file.
  7. Touch
    Continue
     to install the app or
    Cancel
     to stop the installation.
  8. To confirm installation and accept what the application affects, touch
    Install
     otherwise, touch
    Cancel
    .
  9. Touch
    Open
     to open the application or
    Done
     to exit the installation process.
    The application appears in the App list.
  10. Eject the USB drive.
  11. Disconnect the USB drive from the host computer.
